Job summary

Kibbi in Brampton, Ontario is seeking a Red Seal Welder certified in MIG and TIG to join our growing team. This is a full-time, on-site role with day shifts, in a busy shop.

Compensation is up to $45 per hour, based on experience, with a benefits package after probation. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of MIG/TIG welding experience on carbon and stainless steel, be able to read production drawings, follow welding procedures, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in MIG and TIG welding.
• Experience with carbon steel and stainless steel welding and fabrication.
• Current and up to date CWB certificates (MIG and TIG).
• Legally entitled to work in Canada.

Job description

Overview

We are looking for a Red Seal Welder who is CWB certified in MIG and TIG (all positions) to join a growing team in the Brampton, Ontario area.

This will be a full time, on-site role in the busy shop working Monday to Friday day shift. Compensation ranges up to $45 per hour based on experience and will include a benefits package after the probationary period.

An ideal candidate will bring solid experience working as a welder (MIG,TIG Welding) with experience in carbon steel and stainless steel welding. You will follow welding procedures, conduct weld inspections and know how to read and interpret production drawings accordingly. You will be organized and keep a clean and tidy work area as well as be very safety minded.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience in MIG and TIG welding


• Experience with carbon steel and stainless steel welding and fabrication


• Current and up to date CWB certificates (all positions MIG and TIG)


• 456A welding certification (Red Seal)


• Must be able to read and interpret production drawings


• Experience working onsite in a machine shop environment


• Physically capable to be on your feet for long periods of time


• Punctuality and promptness


• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
