Job summary

AGI Rosenort is seeking a Red Seal Millwright/Machinist to manufacture and weld quality auger parts at our Rosenort, MB facility. The role emphasizes MIG welding experience and safe, efficient production in a team environment.

You will work with a large production team including welders, laborers, and machine operators to deliver high-quality augers for customers, while adhering to safety regulations and AGI ethics.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Millwright certification or 10+ years of equivalent experience.
• Ability to be a team player due to constant interactions with engineers, managers, and vendors.
• Working knowledge of mechanical technical skills to read specs, manuals, and blueprints.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision while being part of a team.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Fabricating and testing custom machinery and tooling to improve production or support new product releases.
• Assembling, installing, and testing machines to ensure proper operation.
• Assist with layout and placement of equipment to minimize downtime.
• Support maintenance by identifying and repairing problematic parts and running tests.
• Operate machinery like forklifts to move mechanical parts.

The Opportunity
The emphasis of this job is to manufacture and weld quality auger parts, safely and efficiently, as required. Must have MIG welding experience.
The Team
Our large production team consists of welders, general laborers, machine operators, painters, and more. As a welder you will collaborate with your Production Supervisor and peers to produce quality augers for our customers.
Responsibilities

• Fabricating and testing custom machinery and tooling to improve production or to facilitate new product releases
• Assembling, installing, and testing machines to make sure they are working correctly
• Assist with the layout and placement of equipment and machinery in factory settings to ensure minimum downtime
• Supporting our maintenance department in identifying and repairing problematic parts of a machine by running tests, making temporary repairs, or installing new parts
• Using machinery or equipment, such as forklifts, to move mechanical parts
• Must work in full compliance with the approved safety regulations
• Follow AGI’s Code of Business Ethics and related compliance policies
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
