Responsibilities

• Install and service residential electrical systems, including service upgrades and new circuits.
• Diagnose electrical issues and perform safe, code-compliant repairs.
• Wire panels, breakers, disconnects and components for heat pumps and equipment.
• Remove and decommission outdated or unsafe electrical systems and components.
• Complete service documentation and communicate clearly with homeowners.
• Work safely and in accordance with provincial electrical codes and manufacturer specifications.

This is Residential & Retro Fit work focused on Service Upgrades, and Heat Pump electrification — no sales pressure, no chasing leads, just quality installs and service in a supportive environment where your work is valued and appreciated.

What You’ll Get

• $40-$46/hour, based on experience
• Monday to Thursday schedule

What You’ll Be Doing

• Installing and servicing residential electrical systems, including service upgrades and new circuits
• Diagnosing electrical issues and completing safe, code-compliant repairs
• Wiring panels, breakers, disconnects, and electrical components for heat pumps and other equipment
• Removing and decommissioning outdated or unsafe electrical systems and components
• Completing service documentation and communicating clearly with homeowners
• Working safely and in accordance with provincial electrical codes and manufacturer specifications

Mentoring and supporting apprentices on electrical installations and safety best practices

What We’re Looking For

• Red Seal Electrical Technician (recognized in NS)
• Experience in residential is a must
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
