Job summary

1Click Energy Solutions in British Columbia is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to support electrical components of heat pump installations and to manage permits and safety compliance.

The role offers full-time, year-round employment with ongoing training, company vehicle eligibility, and opportunities for advancement in a fast-growing residential electrification field.

Qualifications

• Must hold Journeyman Electrician Certificate and be licensed for BC electricity work.
• FSR Certificate is required or a valid equivalent to qualify.
• HVAC/heat pump installation experience is an asset but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist on electrical components of heat pump installations.
• Manage and pull electrical permits.
• Ensure compliance with Canadian Electrical Code and team safety.
• Manage electrical material inventory and vendor relations.
• Assist on service calls when necessary.

What You'll Do

• Oversee and assist on electrical components of heat pump installations.
• Manage and pull electrical permits.
• Ensure team safety and compliance of Canadian Electrical Code.
• Manage electrical material inventory and vendor relationships.
• Assist on service calls when necessary.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician Certificate.
• Valid FSR Certificate
• Experience with HVAC or heat pump installations is an asset but not required.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
