Job summary
The-Gentlemen-Pros-1 is seeking a Fleet & Equipment Service Technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair a wide range of company fleet vehicles and small-engine tools. You will perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs to keep equipment safe, reliable, and ready for daily use.
In this role you will keep detailed service records, coordinate with suppliers for parts, and support field technicians to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Certified Automotive Service Technician with Red Seal.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in fleet maintenance, small-engine repair, mechanical repair, or related field.
- Experience with plumbing equipment, drain cleaning equipment, or small-engine-powered tools is an asset.
- Automotive, heavy-duty mechanic, small-engine technician, or related trade experience is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on company fleet vehicles and service equipment.
- Maintain and repair plumbing-related equipment and small-engine tools.
- Diagnose mechanical problems and determine repair solutions.
- Maintain service records and equipment history.
- Coordinate with suppliers for repairs or parts and ensure tools are properly stocked.
