Job summary

Markstone Landscaping in Burlington, ON is seeking a skilled Fleet Technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair heavy equipment, trucks, and trailers. You will ensure safety, compliance, and reliable operation across our year-round fleet.

The role supports snow operations and peak construction periods, uses eMaint for work orders, and requires strong diagnostic abilities, attention to detail, and solid communication with a team.

Qualifications

• Certified mechanic or equivalent hands-on mechanical experience.
• Experience with truck/trailer and heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Fleet & Equipment Maintenance: Perform maintenance and repair of heavy equipment, trucks, and fleet assets.
• Preventive Maintenance: Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Systems & Reporting: Complete and close work orders using eMaint and maintain accurate records.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow safety standards and regulatory obligations; support inspections and corrective actions.
