Job summary

Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions is seeking a Field Service Red Seal Electrician to support maintenance, repair and commissioning of Battery Electric mining equipment at customer sites across Western Canada. The role requires a Red Seal license, strong electrical troubleshooting skills and the ability to travel frequently.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical field with Red Seal Heavy Duty Electrician license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service mining equipment.
• Plan tools and parts per procedures.
• Commission products including pre-delivery and on-site commissioning.
• Conduct root-cause analysis (RCA) for first-line support.
• Document maintenance reports for stakeholders and obtain invoice approvals.
• Coach junior staff on servicing principles.
• Ensure safety procedures and PPE compliance.
