Job summary

Sandvik Group is seeking a Red Seal Millwright for a stable, permanent Field Service role across Saskatchewan and surrounding areas. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mining equipment and support commissioning at client sites.

Key requirements include 3+ years with heavy equipment, ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics, valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel across Canada. Competitive compensation with pension, benefits, and training is offered.

Qualifications

• Red Seal certification is highly preferred and asset at many sites.
• At least 3 years of related experience with heavy equipment.
• Mining equipment experience is an asset.
• Excellent proficiency in reading hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues with mining equipment.
• Represent Sandvik in customer-facing situations with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to local mine sites and across Canada as required.
• Ability and willingness to work varied shifts.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment for proper performance and faults.
• Adjust equipment and repair/replace defective parts.
• Test repaired equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Commissioning new equipment at customer sites.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Complete accurate time records, technical reports, and parts lists.
• Stay current with industry developments and best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
• Maintain safety and environmental compliance.
