Kal Tire is seeking a 310S Licensed Automotive Service Technician for our Sudbury, ON store. This full-time role includes performing maintenance and complex repairs on a range of vehicles, with a path to Lead Technician and growth opportunities. Starting wages are $37.93–$45 per hour, plus a $5,000 recruitment and retention bonus.

Qualifications

• Fully licensed as an Automotive Service Technician (Journeyperson/Journeyman or Red Seal certified)
• A valid driver’s license.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with brakes, shocks, and wheel alignments.
• Experience inspections, diagnostics, servicing and repairs on various vehicles.
• Attention to detail and methodical problem-solving approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of general mechanical services, including brake and suspension repairs, engine diagnostics, and routine maintenance.
• Mentor and coach apprentices, supporting skill development in a learning-focused environment.
• Collaborate with a skilled team on vehicles from passenger cars to light trucks.
• Identify potential mechanical service opportunities with Sales team.
• Maintain high standards of safety and quality in all tasks.

Qualifications

• Fully licensed as an Automotive Service Technician (Journeyperson/Journeyman or Red Seal certified
• A valid driver’s license.
• Brings a minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience with front‑end brakes, shocks, and wheel alignments.
• Experienced in performing inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, servicing, and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
• Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem‑solving.
