Position Requirements

What You’ll Bring to this Position:

Skills That Will Ensure Your Success in the Role:

  • Working knowledge of the University of Regina’s academic policies, procedures and processes; preference given to experience with financial services and human resources.
  • Familiar with nursing academic programs and university policies.
  • Excellent organizational skills including a proven ability to work effectively with minimal supervision, prioritize work and accomplish tasks correctly and on time.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills in order to effectively communicate with a diverse group of faculty, staff, students, program partners and the community.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of appropriate methods to handle confidential and sensitive information, such as financial records or employee documents.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and an ability to develop and maintain effective collegial working relationships.
  • Proficiency in the use of a range of software including: MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint), Teams, and SharePoint is an asset.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of a variety of complex database and information systems including Banner, Caspur reports, DCU scheduling, FAST , Zoom is an asset.
  • Experience with purchasing: budgets, quotes, vendors, and reconciliation is essential.
  • Attention to detail for accurate data entry, proofreading documents, and maintaining records
  • Experience in event management and online booking payment systems.

Physical Demands Pay Grade CUPE Phase 5 Salary Range $30.95 - $41.79 per hour Status Term Work Hours

  • Regular office hours Monday-Friday from 8-15-4:30 pm
  • Scheduled hours can fluctuate and may range from 0-35 hours/week
  • Must be able to work on short notice
  • Work outside regular hours and some travel may be required (although infrequently).
