GuruOps is a boutique consulting and talent firm specializing in AI and data engineering. We help enterprise clients—especially in finance, legal, and technology—execute high-stakes AI initiatives by providing elite technical talent and delivery services. Our clients include Fortune 500s and emerging AI-first organizations.

As our client base grows, we’re looking to bring on a recruiter who can help us scale our ability to source, vet, and close exceptional engineers, scientists, and technical leaders—often under tight timelines and with highly specific requirements.

The Role

We’re hiring a Recruiter who can operate with urgency, discernment, and professionalism. This is not a high-volume agency role—your focus will be on quality, fit, and follow-through. You’ll work directly with our founder and delivery leads to understand project requirements and present top-tier candidates who are both technically strong and client-ready.

Responsibilities

• Source candidates for AI, data engineering, and software roles (emphasis on Applied Scientists and MLEs)
• Conduct initial screens for technical fit, communication, and consulting readiness
• Manage candidate pipelines using our ATS and internal processes
• Coordinate interviews and manage candidate communications end-to-end
• Work closely with the founder to adapt hiring strategies based on client needs
• Maintain high standards of candidate experience and brand representation

What We’re Looking For

• 1–3 years of recruiting experience (technical recruiting strongly preferred)
• Strong instincts for candidate quality beyond resumes and keywords
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfort working independently in a fast-moving environment
• Interest in AI / ML or technical consulting (you don’t need to be an expert, but curiosity helps)
