Job summary

Curtiss-Wright is seeking a seasoned Talent Sourcer (Contract) to support our global recruitment efforts. You will partner with Talent Acquisition Partners and business leaders to source top talent across critical roles, including C-suite, in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The role is based in Ottawa or Toronto/GTA with the possibility of remote Ontario. Salary ranges from $70,000 to $80,000 CAD annually, with a salary guideline note dependent on qualifications and market conditions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience sourcing.
• Experience in global recruitment across markets is a plus.
• Proficient in Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, databases and networking.
• Strong written and verbal communication with relationship-building ability.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to data management and using metrics to drive decisions.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing strategy to identify high-quality candidates for critical roles including C-suite.
• Leverage tools, platforms, and networks to source passive and active candidates.
• Candidate engagement and relationship-building to generate interest.
• Collaborate with internal TA Team and hiring managers to refine candidate profiles.
• Profile and present shortlisted candidates to TA Partners.
• Maintain an active pipeline and ensure timely communication throughout recruitment.
• Data-driven reporting on sourcing metrics and recruitment effectiveness.

As a key member of our growing TA Team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our global recruitment efforts. You will partner with Talent Acquisition Partners & Business Leaders to identify, engage, and source industry-leading talent across a variety of critical roles. You will bring a proven background in sourcing with a passion for sourcing high-caliber candidates, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Location: Ottawa or Toronto/GTA | Remote Ontario
Salary: $70,000 to $80,000

Your Challenge

• Sourcing Strategy: Supporting and executing sourcing strategies to identify high-quality candidates for critical roles across the organisation, including C-suite.
• Leverage various tools, platforms, and networks to source passive and active candidates.
• Candidate Engagement: Proactively engage with candidates, building & maintaining relationships and generating interest in Curtiss-Wright’s opportunities. Leverage your network and outreach techniques to attract top-tier talent.
• Collaborate and partner closely with CW’s internal TA Team and hiring managers to understand role requirements, align on talent needs, and refine candidate profiles.
• Candidate Profiling: Evaluate candidates based on experience, capabilities, cultural fit, and potential to drive results. Present shortlisted candidates to TA Partners.
• Pipeline Management: Maintain and manage an active pipeline of qualified candidates, ensuring timely communication and engagement throughout the recruitment process.
• Data-Driven Approach: Track and report on sourcing metrics, providing insights into talent acquisition trends, candidate engagement, and overall recruitment effectiveness.

What You Bring

• 4+ years of experience sourcing.
• Experience in global recruitment across one or more of our markets is a plus.
• Strong sourcing proficiency in sourcing candidates through advanced methods such as Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, databases, networking, and other innovative sourcing strategies.
• Polished written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships with candidates.
• Collaborative mindset & a team-oriented approach to sourcing and recruitment with a proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail and data management with the ability to leverage metrics to inform decision-making and drive sourcing strategies.
• Proficient in using sourcing tools, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and other recruitment technology platforms.
• A quiet, secure, work from home space with the ability openly communicate.
• Resilience for change and ambiguity to support the fast-paced changing needs of our business.
