Robertson & Company Ltd. is recruiting a Recruiter V in Toronto, Ontario for a 12-month contract (hybrid).

The role supports a leading financial institution with a broad portfolio across institutional, corporate, wealth, private, and commercial banking, requiring a high-volume recruitment capability and strong stakeholder collaboration. Starting hourly rate is CAD 42, with hours Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Talent Advisor for a designated portfolio, informing talent decisions with knowledge of the organization and businesses supported.
• Manage end to end aspects of the recruitment process / specialized acquisition program.
• Develop and execute innovative talent strategies, leveraging market data to proactively target candidates.
• Advise business leads on talent market gaps and provide insights on opportunities.
• Execute on determined plans and provide guidance to clients on benefits of approach.
• Maintain, analyze and leverage recruitment metrics and reporting to inform sourcing and recruitment activities.

Job Responsibilities

• Act as the Talent Advisor for a designated portfolio, informing talent decisions with acute knowledge of the organization and businesses supported, having deep expertise of external markets with an objective to continuously upgrade talent
• Manage end to end aspects of the recruitment process / specialized acquisition program
• Develop and execute innovative talent strategies, leveraging industry best practices and market data to proactively target qualified active and passive candidates to build a robust pipeline of diverse talent
• Advise business leads on talent market gaps and provides insights on alternate practices and opportunities
• Execute on determined plans and provides insight/ guidance to clients on benefits of approach
• Focus on creating an optimal Hiring Manager and candidate experience throughout the recruiting cycle aligned to customer experience model
• Maintain expert knowledge of HR policies, procedures and programs as they relate to recruitment
• Cultivate strong relationships with HR partners, HR CoEs and business stakeholders to understand current and future talent needs and provide consultation on optimal sourcing approaches
• Maintain, analyze and leverage accurate recruitment metrics and reporting to inform sourcing and recruitment activities, consult with hiring managers
• Promote brand in the marketplace through developing and maintaining strong candidate and industry networks
• Lead advertising and brand activities to attract talent, utilizing internet / intranet / social media and other recruiting tools as appropriate
• Represent in various recruitment functions as needed
• Generally interacts with executive level managers up to and including the most senior management layers
• Prioritize and manage own workload to meet SLA requirements for service and productivity
• Adhere to enterprise frameworks or methodologies that relate to activities for the talent acquisition function
• Follow and recommend internal and industry regulations and operating practices in completing and recording transactions for either the organization or candidates
• Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite of the Bank
• May lead special initiatives by representing the business internally and externally, as a subject matter expertli>
• Monitor and communicate the effectiveness of plans, programs, and practices related to own area of expertise
• Ensure respective programs/policies/practices are well managed, meets business needs, complies with internal and external requirements, and aligns with HR priorities
• Conduct internal and external research projects, support the development/ delivery of presentations / communications to management or broader audience
• Keep abreast of and advise the team on emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements in the discipline and assess potential impacts
• Ensure the prompt and thorough resolution of escalated issues
