OCAD University is seeking a part-time Recruiter to support the Admissions and Recruitment team. The role includes engaging with potential students, promoting the university, and assisting in recruitment efforts through various events and outreach initiatives. Ideal candidates will have a degree from OCAD, excellent public speaking skills, and a passion for art and design education.

Reporting to the Lead, National Student Recruitment, the Recruiter is part of the Admissions & Recruitment (A&R) team who work to support learners at various ages and stages to discover pathways into art & design education. As an OCAD University (OCAD U) ambassador, the Recruiter connects with learners virtually and in-person in high school classrooms, university fairs and various education events, and meets with teachers, supporters and families. The Recruiter supports applicants to find the right program fit and prepare their best application or portfolio for admission. The Recruiter plays an important role in supporting the University in how it achieves its enrolment targets, while providing valuable insight into how the University can better support future generations of OCAD U students.

Compensation: $23.48 per hour, plus 4% vacation pay and 7% in lieu of benefits.
Number of Opportunities: Three (3), subject to budgetary approval.
Hours of Work:This is a part-time, casual opportunity. Hours will vary up to 25 - 30 hours per week. This is a temporary contract expected to conclude on November 28, 2025.
The incumbent in this role will be expected to report to work on campus.
