Job summary

The Town of Caledon is seeking a casual Recreation Customer Service role at the Caledon Centre for Recreation & Wellness in Bolton. You will greet patrons, process registrations and memberships, and provide accurate program information at the front desk and over the phone.

Ideal candidates hold Standard First Aid with CPR-C, solid MS Office skills, and familiarity with Perfect Mind. Training starts in December with January shifts, and the Town promotes an inclusive, barrier-free workplace.

Qualifications

• Current Standard First Aid with CPR-C.
• Intermediate computer skills (MS Office) and familiarity with Perfect Mind.
• Previous experience in municipal recreation is an asset.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Process and accept payments for programs, bookings, memberships and POS transactions.
• Perform administrative tasks such as attendance, reports and preparation.
• Maintain promotional materials and respond to customer inquiries.
• Monitor admissions access for members and uphold service standards.
• Provide information about recreation programs and assist staff as needed.
• Work daytime, evening and weekend shifts as required.
