Job summary

Surrey Police Service is seeking a Records Quality Reviewer 2 to uphold high standards of accuracy in policing records and PRIME-UCR data. You’ll work within the Information Management and Technology Division, contributing to reliable crime statistics and quality reporting.

The role requires 5+ years with PRIME in UCR scoring, a Grade 12 education with PRIME coursework, and RCMP reliability clearance. The schedule is 4 on/4 off days, with a comprehensive benefits package and union representation.

Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 12, supplemented by courses in a related discipline including PRIME.
• A minimum of five years of related experience including experience working with PRIME in UCR scoring.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• All applicants must obtain and maintain the required police clearance throughout their employment with SPS. This role also requires RCMP Reliability Status (security clearance).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily audits of PRIME data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor and resolve issues with MNI, MVI, and MII.
• Input verified information and correct data inaccuracies.
• Review UCR policy and liaise with PAU for changes and alignment.
• Maintain and revise the UCR manual and business rules.
• Identify recurring data quality issues and propose improvements.
• Provide oversight and training to staff on procedures and system use.
• Maintain liaison with sworn members on file maintenance and compliance.
• Assist in communicating policy updates.
• Prepare detailed reports on data integrity and training needs.
• Maintain data, documentation and files.
