The City of Red Deer is seeking a regular, full-time Reviewer Analyst in Municipal Policing Services to oversee records accuracy and data quality across PROS, RCMP databases, and related systems. You will perform daily checks, reviews, and corrections to ensure compliant records.

As a subject matter expert, you will train officers, provide guidance on PROS and data standards, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve file issues and support investigations.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma
• 2 years’ post secondary education in a related field would be an asset.
• Minimum 7 years’ of direct Police Officer experience with an accredited Law Enforcement Agency including current statistical reporting procedures and methodology
• Minimum 3 years’ operational supervisory experience

Responsabilidades

• Review, analyze, and maintain police occurrence files in PROS to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with RCMP standards, legislation, and organizational policies.
• Audit and validate operational data, including Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) scoring, to support accurate crime statistics and reporting.
• Identify, investigate, and correct data quality issues, record discrepancies, and duplicate entities to maintain the integrity of police records systems.
• Provide expert guidance, training, and support to officers and staff on records management processes, reporting requirements, and the use of PROS.
• Conduct detailed research, operational queries, and file reviews to support investigations, criminal record checks, intelligence requests, and information requests.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to obtain information, resolve file-related issues, and ensure consistent application of policies, procedures, and reporting standards.
