Job summary

City of Vernon is seeking a CPIC Operator & Records Reviewer to perform CPIC data entry and PRIME file maintenance on-site in Vernon. The role supports accurate data handling and compliance with CCJS and UCR guidelines.

The position requires a post-secondary certificate in Office Administration or equivalent and at least one year of police records management experience, with the ability to obtain CPIC and RCMP security clearances.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary certificate in Office Administration or equivalent.
• Minimum one-year recent experience in police records management, including file review and CPIC maintenance.
• Combination of related education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Performs data entry into CPIC accurately and timely.
• Reviews PRIME operational files and JUSTIN to extract information for CPIC entries and maintenance.
• Maintains PRIME and CPIC quality assurance and prepares weekly information reports.
