Join us as a Receptionist/Concierge at Chartwell Retirement Residences

We are seeking a Receptionist/Concierge to perform a variety of accounting functions, confidential clerical, and receptionist duties associated with daily operations at our residence. This role requires maintaining a safe and secure environment and contributing positively to the lives of our residents. Join our dedicated team and grow your career with us.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain department files, including correspondence, forms, and routine office records and reports.
  • Receive incoming mail, coordinate distribution, and process outgoing mail.
  • Answer telephone calls, greet visitors, respond to inquiries, and relay messages to appropriate personnel.
  • Process daily bank deposits, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, including verification and coding.
  • Respond to resident or family concerns and ensure appropriate actions are taken or escalate to the General Manager.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • Secondary school education or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a similar position, including knowledge of office procedures and elementary bookkeeping.
  • Computer skills, with proficiency in Word and Excel.
