Job description

Mango Insurance is a leading trucking insurance broker with operations in Alberta, Ontario, and an operational office in India. Our commitment to innovation and client-first solutions has driven our growth to $45 million in premiums since 2018. We’re expanding our team and looking for a dynamic Receptionist and Admin Clerk to support our internal operations. This is a full-time, in-office role with high-pressure responsibilities, starting at 8:30 am and ending at 5:30 pm, including breaks from 10:00 to 10:15 am, 12:00 to 12:30 pm, and 2:30 to 2:45 pm, totaling 40 hours per week.

Mango Insurance is seeking candidates for the position based in the Calgary office: Receptionist and Admin Clerk.

As Receptionist and Admin Clerk, you will utilize your skills and business acumen to support the leadership team. The ideal candidate will exercise good judgment in various situations, possess exceptional written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and be able to manage multiple priorities effectively.

PROACTIVE ACTIONS

  • Handle confidential information with discretion
  • Prioritize tasks, handle matters promptly, and follow through to completion under deadline pressures
  • Apply critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills to address issues proactively

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage internal and external correspondence for the leadership team
  • Prepare and edit presentations
  • Take minutes and notes during meetings
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings and appointments for leaders
  • Coordinate and support internal and external events
  • Conduct research and oversee project completion for the executive team
  • Arrange travel and guest accommodations
  • Support positive relationships vital to organizational success
  • Facilitate smooth communication between leadership and internal departments, demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility and trust
