Qualifications

  • Diploma in an Office Administrative Program or related field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in a Receptionist role
  • Familiarity with consulting engineer/survey/environmental work an asset
  • Professional written and verbal communication and comprehension skills
  • Familiarity with general office equipment including photocopiers, binding machines, etc.
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Adobe, Outlook and Teams) and ability to learn new computer programs or software

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the efficient and professional operation of the front reception desk
  • Addressing and routing client inquiries accordingly
  • Greet, sign-in and notify internal contact(s) of visitors according to MTE procedures
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail and couriers
  • Assist with meeting logistics, booking boardrooms and catering orders
  • Conduct inventory checks, order, and maintain stock of office supplies
  • Perform light kitchen duties and other housekeeping tasks (e.g., maintaining coffee machines, tidying meeting rooms, etc.)
  • Provide administrative support, including transcription of notes, formatting, proofreading, printing, copying and compiling of various reports, proposals, letters, drawings and other project related documents, ensuring all documentation meets client specifications, project requirements and MTE standards
  • Perform other administrative related duties as required, including typing various report documents and assisting records with data entry and filing
  • Other related duties as assigned

Salary Range

$20.51 – $25.64 per hour, plus benefits

Hourly Wage will be based on individual education, qualifications, and relevant work experience.
