Job summary

Drive Auto Group's Midway Nissan in Whitby is seeking a friendly Receptionist to welcome customers, direct inquiries, and support day-to-day dealership operations with a professional presence.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience in reception or customer service, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; a team‑oriented mindset and ability to multitask are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in reception and/or customer service.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Ability to prepare business memos, letters, etc.
• Strong attention to detail to maintain filing systems and databases.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player, quick thinker and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a prompt and professional manner as they enter the dealership.
• Personalize every interaction with customers by answering questions and directing them to the appropriate department.
• Operate a multi-line telephone system to transfer calls to the appropriate individual/department.
• Distribute mail/faxes and coordinate courier pickups.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the reception area and customer waiting area.
• Update and distribute dealership telephone listings when necessary.
• Perform all other related clerical and administrative duties as assigned by management.

Midway Nissan, a proud member of Drive Auto Group, is currently looking for a Receptionist to join our growing team! As a Receptionist you will be responsible for creating a lasting and outstanding customer service experience to all customers of the dealership. The ideal candidate should be friendly and approachable, and can expect that this role require you to do the following:
