Job summary

RONA in Rouyn-Noranda is seeking a Receiving and Handling team member to turn every incoming delivery into a smooth, accurate product flow. You will help maintain inventory, sort and unpack deliveries, and support store operations.

The role requires attention to detail, a commitment to health and safety, and the ability to operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners; training is provided, with opportunities for advancement and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate store equipment in assigned work area (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, computer, scanner).
• A commitment to health and safety in the workplace.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift to transport product to appropriate areas).
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received.
• Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly
