Job summary

Royal Distributing in Canada is seeking a Receiving Clerk to support inventory movement, accuracy, and store operations. You will handle inbound/outbound transfers, receive truck deliveries, and assist with Ship From Store activities to ensure products are available for customers.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in retail inventory or warehouse roles, strong attention to detail, and comfort with handheld inventory systems.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years retail inventory, receiving, warehouse, or stockroom experience.
• Experience with transfers, receiving, or fulfillment is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Comfortable using basic inventory systems or handheld devices.

Responsibilities

• Pick, prepare, and process outbound transfers (customer and stock).
• Validate inbound transfers and direct discrepancies.
• Ensure items are picked, packaged, labeled, and staged to standards.
• Meet timelines for inbound and outbound shipments with accuracy.
• Lead cycle counts and full inventory counts on the sales floor and back-room.
• Report inventory discrepancies and verify against documentation.
• Receive and unload truck deliveries safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and back-of-house area.
