Job summary

Golf Town is seeking a Manager, Shipping and Receiving in Canada to oversee the receiving department and ensure efficient merchandise flow from receiving to the sales floor. You will maintain inventory integrity, manage shipments, and support merchandising and customer service standards.

The role requires strong organizational skills, experience in retail receiving, and the ability to lift/repeat-lift stock.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail receiving and warehouse operations preferred.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills required.
• Ability to lift and move product safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Manage receiving department to ensure efficient merchandise flow from receiving to sales floor.
• Maintain inventory integrity with accurate documentation, cycle counts, and shipment/return management.
• Process paperwork and records for reporting and tracking per SOP.
• Ensure shortages/overages procedures and GT audit compliance.
• Organize backroom, assemble and display pre-packs; execute planograms and signage.
• Support merchandising execution to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
• Track shipments, verify receipts, and manage inter-store transfers.
• Complete cycle counts and SSC schedule adherence; manage RTVs and special orders.
• Ensure actual inventory matches inventory system; address NOH items.
