Giant Tiger Wholesale in Johnstown, ON is hiring a permanent, full-time Receiving Dock Associate for our fully automated distribution centre. You will support unloading, sorting and moving goods from receiving to cross aisles and rack locations, ensuring efficient dock operations.

The role requires high school completion, a valid Class G2 license, and experience in order picking or similar work. Training is provided, including three days of paid machine training and in-house certification, with

Qualifications

• Completion of High School.
• Driver's license Class G2 or higher.
• Experience as an Order Picker or similar role.
• Able to stand, walk, and lift heavy items for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and basic PC skills.
• Voice picking or Manhattan Warehouse Management System experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist lumpers in unloading containers using a low lift double pallet jack.
• Assist receivers in offloading and sorting receiving goods per process.
• Run receiving pallets from the receiving dock to cross-aisle locations or drive-in rack locations.
• Maintain organization and tidiness of the dock areas (basic cleanup, supply of empty pallets, store dunnage, etc.).
• Repack and container unloading as necessary.
• Lift boxes ranging 1–50 pounds.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Assisting lumpers in unloading containers using a low lift double pallet jack;

What You'll Bring:

• Experience as an Order Picker or a similar position.

As part of your onboarding, you will be required to complete three days of paid machine training and successfully obtain in-house certification. Successful machine certification is a mandatory condition of employment as it is an occupational requirement.

Tuesday - Saturday, 6:00am - 2:30pm
