Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Delta, BC, is seeking a Receiving Outfitter to handle back-room operations including receiving, inventory control, replenishment and housekeeping. You will count incoming P.O.s, stock from back room to sales floor, and ensure shelves are full with accurate pricing.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, attention to detail, strong customer service, professional communication, physical stamina to stand and lift, steel-toed boots, and PAL license.

Responsibilities

• Receive P.O.’s into the building and verify counts.
• Perform physical counts of all packages and verify against packing slips.
• Stock from back room to sales floor and replenish merchandise.
• Repackage, sort, facing and re-hanging of newly arriving products.
• Conduct general replenishment and ensure pricing and signage are up to date.
• Maintain floor checks and assist with merchandise purges as needed.

Job description

Reporting to the Back Room Department Manager, a Receiving Outfitter is responsible for backend operations including receiving, warehouse, inventory control, replenishment, stocking, and maintenance/housekeeping departments.

Responsibilities

• Systematically receive P.O.’s that come into the building
• Physical count of all packages coming into the building and verify count with packing slip
• Conduct stocking activities from back room to sales floor
• Perform tasks including folding, repackaging, sorting, facing and re-hanging of newly arriving Cabela’s Canada product
• Conduct general replenishment of all departments, including facing and hanging merchandise
• Conduct floor checks including cleaning, updates to pricing and signage, inventory, verification of min/max settings, ensuring that shelves are full and security tags are in place
• Assist with merchandise purges when necessary

Starting Pay Rate: $18.25 - $20.75
