Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Vancouver seeks a Receiving Outfitter to manage back room ops including receiving, warehousing, inventory control, and replenishment. You will stock from back room to the floor and ensure accurate counts and proper pricing.

The role requires attention to detail, customer-service orientation, and the ability to communicate professionally with staff and customers. Steel-toe boots are required and PAL eligibility is needed.

Qualifications

Job description

Summary

Reporting to the Back Room Department Manager, a Receiving Outfitter is responsible for backend operations including receiving, warehousing, inventory control, replenishment, stocking, and maintenance/housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Systematically receive purchase orders that come into the building.
• Perform physical count of all packages coming into the building and verify the count with the packing slip.
• Conduct stocking activities from the back room to the sales floor.
• Perform tasks including folding, repackaging, sorting, facing and re‑hanging of newly arriving Cabela’s Canada product.
• Conduct general replenishment of all departments, including facing and hanging merchandise.
• Check the floor for cleanliness, update pricing and signage, perform inventory checks, verify min/max settings, ensure shelves are full, and confirm security tags are in place.
• Assist with merchandise purges when necessary.

Starting Pay Rate: $18.25 - $20.75
