Job summary

Bass Pro Shops Canada is seeking a Part-Time Receiving Outfitter to support backend operations, including receiving, inventory control and stocking from the back room to the sales floor.

The role requires attention to detail, strong customer service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina and safety footwear are mandatory; PAL license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of work.
• Customer service oriented team player.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers in a courteous, positive and professional manner.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods, and to move and handle boxes of merchandise.
• Steel-toed boots are required.
• Must be able to obtain a PAL license.

• Perform folding, repackaging, sorting, facing and re-hanging of Bass Pro Shops Canada product.
• Conduct general replenishment of all departments including facing and hanging merchandise.
• Conduct floor checks including cleaning, pricing, signage, inventory and min/max verification.
• Assist with merchandise purges when necessary.

Reporting to the Back Room Department Manager, a Part-Time Receiving Outfitter is responsible for backend operations including receiving, warehouse, inventory control, replenishment, stocking and maintenance/housekeeping departments.

Responsibilities

• Systematically receive P.O.’s that come into the building
• Physical count of all packages coming into the building and verify count with packing slip
• Conduct stocking activities from back room to sales floor
• Perform tasks including folding, repackaging, sorting, facing and re-hanging of newly arriving Bass Pro Shop's Canada product
• Conduct general replenishment of all departments including facing, hanging merchandise
• Conduct floor checks including cleaning, updates to pricing and signage, inventory, verification of min/max settings, ensuring that shelves are full and that security tags are in place
• Assist with merchandise purges when necessary
