Job summary

RONA is looking for a dedicated Receiving and Handling team member in Cambridge, Canada. You will receive product deliveries, maintain inventory flow to store shelves, operate forklift, and ensure accuracy of received stock to support smooth store operations.

Qualifications

• Experience operating warehouse equipment (forklift preferred).

Responsibilities

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves.
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received.
• Complete paperwork with accuracy.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.

Your role:

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift to transport product to appropriate areas)
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received
• Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

What we're looking for:

• Ability to operate store equipment in assigned work area (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, computer, scanner etc.)
• A commitment to health and safety in the workplace
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with material handling equipment will be considered an asset
