Job summary

RONA is seeking a Receiving and Handling team member to ensure smooth, accurate product flow from deliveries to store shelves. Your attention to detail and commitment to health and safety will support stock accuracy and safe day-to-day operations.

As part of the Receiving team, you will receive deliveries, move inventory with forklifts, sort and unpack, and complete paperwork with care. This role offers growth opportunities within the company and a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate store equipment in assigned work area (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, computer, scanner etc.)
• A commitment to health and safety in the workplace
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with material handling equipment will be considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift to transport product to appropriate areas)
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received
• Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly
