Job summary

Umbrella Family and Child Centres of Hamilton is seeking an RECE After School Educator in Greensville, Dundas, Ontario, for part-time hours. You will plan activities, ensure child safety, and support families in a collaborative, inclusive environment. Requires ECE diploma, active registration, and First Aid CPR.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year experience working directly with children or in a childcare setting.

• Proof of up-to-date immunizations (TB, Tetanus, MMR).

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement activities to support children's cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
• Maintain an engaging and welcoming environment for children and families.
• Complete documentation and meet Ministry of Education requirements.

For over 35 years, Umbrella Family and Child Centres of Hamilton has been dedicated to offering high-quality programs for young children and their families. We operate full-day early learning and childcare centres for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, along with before and after school extended-day programs for kindergarten and school-aged children at over 27 locations across the Greater Hamilton Area.

Location: GreensvilleCentre; 625 Harvest Road,Dundas, ONL9H 5K8

Total Weekly Hours:19hours per week(including 1.5 hours programming time)

Schedule: Monday to Friday 2:30pm - 6:00pm

Pay Rate (per Collective Agreement, includes wage grants):

Who We’re Looking For
