Umbrella Family and Child Centres of Hamilton is seeking an After School Educator to join our Dundas centre. This part-time role supports children after school with program planning, supervision, healthy snacks, and safe play, contributing to a welcoming environment for families.
You will work 3:00pm–6:00pm, Monday to Friday, at the Dundana Centre, delivering engaging activities and ensuring safety and well-being of children aged JK–school age.

Location: Dundana Centre; 23 Dundana Ave,Dundas, ONL9H 4E5
Total Weekly Hours: 16.5 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday 3:00pm - 6:00pm
Pay Rate (per Collective Agreement, includes wage grants):
As an After School Educator, your primary responsibility is to be present for children and their families while developing and implementing programs that meet their developmental needs and interests. You will create meaningful play experiences, provide healthy snacks, supervise outdoor and indoor activities, and ensure the safety and well-being of children in your care.
Duties vary by centre, but your role always includes supporting children, assisting colleagues, and contributing to a welcoming and well-organized environment.
