Job summary

TMX Group in Montreal is seeking a Programmer Analyst to design and implement real-time solutions in C++. You will also script validation and automation using Python, contributing to the squad's success and product evolution.

The role reports to the MX Trading & TMX Operation Portal Lead and is based in a hybrid setting (2-3 days in the office). Qualified candidates will have a university IT degree, about 5 years of industry experience, and strong knowledge of template programming, Git, Python,

Qualifications

• University degree in Information Technology or equivalent required.
• 5 years of industry experience.
• Strong skills in designing and developing real-time business applications.
• C++ programming language practical experience.
• Very good knowledge of template programming.
• Knowledge of Git.
• Python scripting languages.
• Analysis and programming of distributed systems for Linux.
• Good knowledge of Jenkins libraries - TCP and UDP.
• Sense of organization, focus, persistence.
• Fluency in French and English (spoken and written) essential for documentation and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement real-time application.
• Collaborate with Development Manager to understand requirements, design, and testing cycle.
• Conduct and participate in code reviews following enterprise standards.
• Provide 3rd level support when needed.
