Job summary

TMX Group in Montreal is seeking a Programmer Analyst to design and implement real-time solutions in C++. You will also script validation and automation using Python, contributing to the squad's success and product evolution.

The role reports to the MX Trading & TMX Operation Portal Lead and is based in a hybrid setting (2-3 days in the office). Qualified candidates will have a university IT degree, about 5 years of industry experience, and strong knowledge of template programming, Git, Python,

Qualifications

• University degree in Information Technology or equivalent required.
• 5 years of industry experience.
• Strong skills in designing and developing real-time business applications.
• C++ programming language practical experience.
• Very good knowledge of template programming.
• Knowledge of Git.
• Python scripting languages.
• Analysis and programming of distributed systems for Linux.
• Good knowledge of Jenkins libraries - TCP and UDP.
• Sense of organization, focus, persistence.
• Fluency in French and English (spoken and written) essential for documentation and collaboration.

You will be part of an experienced multi-disciplinary team with Developers, Analyst-testers, Business Analysts and Architects, in an environment where teamwork reigns using scrum methodology. As a Programmer Analyst in the squad you will be involved in the design and implementation (C++) of solutions, as well as scripting test cases to ensure the quality of your code. Some scripting (Python) for validation and automation processes is part of the challenge. As a member of the squad you will share in the success of the product and its evolution thanks to your commitment, focus and team spirit. Key Accountabilities:

• Develop and implement real-time application

Must Have(s):
