Job summary

CBRE Toronto's National Investment Team seeks an Investment Analyst to support real estate and market analysis, build financial models for multifamily assets, and prepare valuation and marketing materials. You will underwrite opportunities, review rent rolls, and synthesize market trends for internal and client-facing insights.

You'll work under coaching with exposure to senior team members, contributing to ongoing projects, and collaborating across sales and marketing to deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CFA/CPA/AACI asset.
• 2-4 years relevant real estate analytical experience preferred.
• Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint for complex financial analyses.
• Solid grounding in financial concepts, corporate finance, and valuation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of CMHC-insured financing is a plus.
• Authorized to work in Canada without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial models for real estate assets, focusing on multifamily residential.
• Analyze property financials, rent rolls, AGIs, utilities, budgets, and capital expenses in Excel.
• Review third party reports and identify key factors impacting analyzed properties.
• Research market and demographic information for proposals and marketing materials.
• Collaborate with sales and other team members on underwriting and marketing matters.
• Respond promptly to information requests from team members and clients.
• Draft sections of marketing materials in coordination with sales/marketing teams.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects and presentations.
