• Progressive experience in commercial real estate development or retail development.
• Strong knowledge of municipal approvals, zoning, permitting, entitlements, and land-use planning.
• Proven project management experience with schedules, budgets, and risk management.
• Experience with site feasibility, due diligence, site selection, and development risk analysis.
• Ability to influence architects, engineers, planners, municipalities, landlords, and developers.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills for senior leaders.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee municipal planning and development approvals across Western Canada.
• Lead the Western Development team with coaching and workload prioritization.
• Manage development projects from site acquisition through approvals, construction, and opening.
• Direct external consultants to support development objectives and approvals.
• Collaborate with Real Estate, Construction, Store Planning, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Banners.
• Prepare feasibility studies, site assessments, and risk analyses for investment decisions.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, and milestones to stay within approved budgets.
• Represent Canadian Tire at public meetings and stakeholder sessions.
