Job summary

Smart Solutions (Recruitment) Limited is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Skip Driver to join a busy waste management operation at our Edmonton depot. The role covers safe delivery, collection of skips, and ensuring high levels of customer service in line with company procedures.

• Experience as HGV Class 2 Skip Driver.
• Strong customer service skills and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect skips from commercial and domestic sites.
• Transport waste safely and dispose of it in line with regulations.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report defects.
• Provide a professional and courteous service to customers.
• Follow Road Traffic Regulations and Health & Safety procedures.
• Keep the vehicle clean and presentable.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Skip Driver to join a busy waste management operation based at our Edmonton depot.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe delivery, collection, and transportation of skips while providing excellent customer service and ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced skip driver looking for ongoing, full-time work with regular overtime opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver and collect skips from commercial and domestic customer sites.
• Transport waste safely and dispose of it in accordance with company procedures and environmental regulations.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects promptly.
• Provide a professional and courteous service to customers.
• Follow all Road Traffic Regulations, Drivers' Hours legislation, and company Health & Safety procedures.
• Keep the vehicle clean and presentable.

What We Offer:

• £21.00 per hour.
• Monday to Friday working pattern.
• Regular daytime hours.
• Overtime available during the week.
• Every other Saturday available.
