Job summary

Smart Solutions is recruiting Refuse Loaders to join a busy waste and recycling operation based in Farnham. As a Refuse Loader, you will work as part of a team collecting waste and recyclable materials from residential, commercial and industrial locations while ensuring high standards of safety and customer service.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 3:00pm. Weekly pay with overtime opportunities and uniform provided. Immediate starts available for suitable candidates.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the collection of waste and recyclable materials on scheduled routes
• Load refuse safely using manual handling techniques and mechanical aids where required
• Ensure waste is collected efficiently and disposed of at designated facilities
• Support the driver in completing routes safely and on time
• Carry out routine vehicle checks and report any issues with equipment or vehicles
• Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
• Maintain accurate collection records where required
• Deliver excellent customer service when interacting with the public
