Job summary

Randstad Canada is looking for dedicated Reach Truck and Order Picker Operators to join a fast-paced tire distribution facility in Edmonton. You will pick, move, and stack tires at a target rate of 45+ tires per hour within high-density aisles.

This role offers CAD 21.88/hour for day shifts, plus a CAD 1.50/hour premium for night shifts and available overtime. Flexible Full-Time or Part-Time options with an immediate start on October 2.

Qualifications

• Valid or recently expired Reach Truck and Order Picker license (active in last 6 months).
• Experience handling or picking tires is strongly preferred.
• Comfortable working on elevated platforms and order picker equipment.
• Excellent verbal communication ability.

Responsibilities

• Operate Reach Trucks and Order Pickers to achieve a 45+ tires per hour target.
• Lift, move, stack tires across varying heights in a warehouse.

Operating in high-density, narrow aisles, you will be responsible for picking, moving, and stacking heavy automotive tires at a target rate of 45+ tires per hour. This role demands a reliable, safety-first operator who is comfortable working at heights and thrives in a busy industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Order Fulfillment: Safely and accurately operate Reach Trucks and Order Pickers to navigate narrow aisles and achieve a picking target of 45+ tires per hour.
• Material Handling: Manually lift, move, stack, and stage tires across various heights throughout the warehouse.
• Safety & Equipment Care: Maintain an accident-free environment, adhere strictly to WHMIS guidelines, and ensure safe operation of material handling equipment at all times.
• Inventory & Quality: Verify orders against manifest details to ensure correct shipments with zero discrepancies.
• Team Communication: Collaborate closely with warehouse leadership to hit daily volume goals.

Qualifications

• Certification / Experience: Valid or recently expired Reach Truck and Order Picker license (must have actively operated within the last 6 months).
• Tire Industry Experience: Prior experience handling or picking tires is strongly preferred.
• Comfort at Heights: Must be comfortable working on elevated platforms and order picker equipment.
• Physical & Commute Readiness: Highly dependable with strong physical stamina. If using public transit, must be prepared for a 30-minute walk from the nearest bus stop.
• Safety & Standards: Valid WHMIS certification, strong common sense, and a clean safety track record with zero accidents.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication (5/5 rating).
