Job summary

Randstad Canada is hiring for a Regional Logistics role in Edmonton. You will operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, offload, sort, and stage LTL freight in a fast-paced cross-dock setting, while maintaining safety and accuracy. Qualifications

• Hold a valid Forklift Operator Certification with proven experience in a fast-paced cross-dock or LTL environment.
• Demonstrate the physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift.
• Commit to full-time availability for early morning or day shift.
• Track record of punctual attendance and acute safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate electric sit-down counterbalance forklifts to load, unload, move, and organize freight safely across a high-volume cross-dock.
• Drive stand-up stock picker to pick orders, stock bins, and return re-barcoded cases to storage.
• Receive and execute inventory put-aways during heavy delivery days (800–1,200 cases per unit).
• Maintain complete operational accuracy by placing products in precise bin locations and verifying barcodes.
• Execute daily/weekly warehouse cleaning and follow safety guidelines while collaborating with the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to offload, sort, and stage LTL freight in a fast-paced environment.
• Trailer Loading: Load outbound shipments accurately to optimize space and meet strict daily dispatch deadlines.
• Quality & Verification: Inspect freight for damage, verify piece counts against paperwork, and report discrepancies right away.
• Safety & Maintenance: Keep work areas clean and hazard-free while enforcing facility safety standards.
• Manual Handling: Perform heavy lifting and physical freight consolidation as needed.

• Team up to receive and execute inventory put-aways during heavy delivery days (handling 800–1,200 cases as a unit).
• Maintain complete operational accuracy by placing products in precise bin locations and verifying barcodes.
• Execute daily and weekly warehouse cleaning duties to keep the facility safe, clear, and organized.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and operational guidelines while collaborating closely with team members.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Forklift Operator Certification with proven experience in a fast-paced cross-dock or LTL environment.
• Demonstrate the physical capability to comfortably lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift.
• Commit to full-time availability for either the early morning (3:00 AM – 11:30 AM) or day (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM) shift.
• Bring a track record of punctual attendance, acute safety awareness, and strong spatial awareness for tight loading spaces.
• Possess reliable transportation to arrive consistently at the Edmonton facility for your scheduled shift.
