Job summary

Transat AT is seeking a Ramp Services Supervisor to oversee ramp teams and ensure safe, efficient operations at the airport. The role emphasizes enforcing airline policies, supervising baggage handling, and coordinating with authorities to maintain safety standards.

The candidate should bring multiple years in ramp operations, leadership and bilingual English/French abilities, plus availability for varied shifts. Industry knowledge and a proactive coaching approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in aviation/airline, Ramp Agent or Ramp Team Lead.
• Two (2) years of experience in employee management.
• Must hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license.
• CIZR card and DA ramp permit (an asset).
• Knowledge of Transport Canada regulations governing airlines, CBSA and USCBP regulations.
• Extensive experience in ground operations and flight operations understanding.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with strong teamwork and leadership abilities.
• Flexible and available to work day, evening, night, weekends and holidays.
• Proficient in spoken and written French and English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the work teams for ramp services.
• Ensure compliance with airport policies and baggage handling procedures.
• Conduct station inspections and implement corrective actions.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to operational teams.
• Manage station delays, emergency events and irregular operations.
• Coordinate with airport authorities and government agencies.
• Maintain and analyze ramp service reports.
