Job summary

This role focuses on operational reliability and developing a high-performance team in a fast-paced environment. You will work with cross-functional teams, ensure staffing and resources, and drive efficiency during peak periods.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Ramp experience is preferred or equivalent operations experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and mediation skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
• Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Eligible to work in Canada.
• Ability to obtain Transport Canada Clearance and an AVOP.
• Ability to meet medical standards (including alcohol/drug tests) and all physical requirements.
• Willing to work rotating shifts (days, afternoons, evenings, weekends, holidays).
• Valid Ontario (G2) license and clean driving record; out-of-province acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Leads and supervises ramp functions at YTZ, ensuring safety and operational procedures are followed.
• Provide 7-day in-station leadership coverage during peak times.
• Collaborate with administrative support to meet station needs.
• Coordinate with Learning & Development and People & Culture to manage resources and staffing costs.
• Maintain healthy team engagement and labor relations.
• Coordinate with GSE Maintenance to ensure safe, reliable equipment.
