Job summary

Air Inuit is seeking a Ramp Agent to support on-tarmac operations in Nunavik and beyond. Responsibilities include loading/unloading baggage and cargo, marshalling aircraft, and ensuring safety standards are met on every shift.

The role requires physical fitness, a high school diploma, a valid Class 5 license, and bilingual skills in French and English. A Driver license, security clearance, and ADM airside license are also expected, with strong teamwork and reliability required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
• Bilingual French and English; knowledge of Inuktitut is an asset.
• Valid Class 5 driver license.
• Successful completion of Transport Canada security screening and ADM (D/A) YUL airside license.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload baggage, cargo, and mail safely and efficiently.
• Marshal aircraft and guide them to parking positions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standard operating procedures.
• Operate ground support equipment, including tugs and belt loaders.
• Perform inspections of equipment and ramp areas.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crew, and other ground staff.
• Perform other ramp duties as required to maintain smooth flight operations.
