Job summary

SCR Mining and Tunnelling L.P. is seeking experienced Alimak Raise Miners/Leaders for underground operations in Red Lake, Ontario. The role involves operating the Alimak, breaking rock, and advancing underground installations while adhering to safety protocols and the mining plan.

The position is full-time with a 2 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off rotation; camp accommodations and meals are provided. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada; sponsorship is unavailable.

Qualifications

• Common core completion as well as specialty module U0064 or provincial equivalent.
• 2 years of experience driving Alimak raise / 5 years for leadership role.
• Positive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Establish emergency escapeway travel systems and infrastructure.
• Break rock and cycle a full round according to the mining plan.
• Operate the Alimak and cycle rounds according to plan and procedures.
• Construct and maintain underground installations as face advances.
• Follow written and verbal instructions to perform duties safely and efficiently.
• Ensure proper procedures are followed to minimize equipment damage.
• Follow company health and safety standards and report unsafe acts or conditions to supervisor.

SCR Mining and Tunnelling is currently seeking experienced and safety-focused Alimak Raise Miners/Leaders to join our underground mining operations team at Red Lake, Ontario.

There are multiple existing vacancies for this position.

Job Type

This is a full-time role, on a 2 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off Rotation

Job Duties and Responsibilities
