Job summary

Alstom Canada is seeking an experienced engineer to lead system deployment on major railway projects. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver world-class solutions while helping reduce the carbon footprint of Canada’s busier transit networks.

The role emphasizes managing technical scope, risk, and interface integration across stakeholders, with an expectation of 5+ years in railway projects and a P.Eng. or active licensing process. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or in the process of obtaining it.
• Minimum 5 years of railway project experience in a technical role.
• Strong client relationship management in contractual settings.
• Fluent English with strong written communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage the technical scope of railway projects with the customer and control the scope of work.
• Ensure performance and customer acceptance of project solutions.
• Support deployment, coordination, and baseline delivery planning.
• Lead engineering risk management and mitigation activities.
• Oversee documentation alignment with program, interfaces, and external parties.
• Raise RFIs and define impact analyses and actions.
