Job summary

Advance Training & Recruitment Services is seeking a Railway experienced Project Engineer to support a Telecoms, SCADA and Control Systems Renewal Programme in the Kent area. The role offers Hybrid Working / Remote Working with a daily rate of £500 - £600 Inside IR35 on a long-term contract.

You will join at the start of a three-year programme, delivering and upgrading critical control systems across railway telecoms connectivity, signalling interfaces, HVAC controls and monitoring systems,

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering railway SCADA and/or control systems projects.
• Strong understanding of railway telecoms, signalling, HVAC and operational technology environments.
• Experience working within infrastructure and rail sectors.
• Excellent stakeholder management and technical coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering activities throughout the project life-cycle.
• Review and coordinate designs, technical documentation and engineering assurance.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and project requirements.
• Manage technical interfaces across multiple disciplines and stakeholders.
• Support testing, commissioning and handover activities.
