CPKC is hiring a Conductor in Revelstoke, Canada. You will join a safety‑driven crew, perform switching, coupling/uncoupling, and move rail cars across yards, with outdoor work in all weather.

The role requires physical stamina, readiness for 24/7 shifts, up to 12 hours, and strong communication. Training is provided with paid in-class and field components; relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or general equivalency required
• Strong focus and ability to multitask, with good problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Responsibilities

• Work in train or yard service depending on seniority
• Coordinate switching of cars and move trains
• Observe, interpret, and relay signals for movement
• Provide flag protection and relay signals in emergencies
• Move on/off moving or stationary equipment and complete train reports
