Job summary

Roche in Canada is seeking a Finance Insights & Data Analyst to join the Enterprise Center of Excellence. You will partner with R&D FP&A leads, deliver analytics and insights, and drive process improvements in month-end closing and reporting.

You'll shape financial planning, collaborate across the finance network, and support strategic priorities with data-driven thinking, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Supports the R&D FP&A community on monthly and yearly financial cycle planning, actuals tracking, closing, etc.
• Partners with the R&D FP&A leads to deliver Analytics & Insights to FEPs and the R&D Finance Leads
• Acts as a back-up for FP&A leads with business acumen and cross-functional collaboration
• Owns end-to-end tasks in month-end closing and reporting, including stakeholder management
• Builds strong relationships with the FEP community and other OBCs (e.g. commercial, partnering, PT)
• Drives process improvement, digitalization, and automation to enhance efficiency and financial accuracy
• Continuously seeks opportunities to Stop, Automate, Scale, and Transfer non-remit work to improve operations
