Job summary

Oratomic is seeking an inventory manager / material handler to own the flow of equipment from the loading dock to the lab. You will maintain inventory records, keep a well-organized stockroom, monitor and replenish stocks, receive freight, unpack and stage sensitive hardware, and assist with installation of equipment.

You will work closely with scientists and engineers to ensure everything needed to build a quantum computer is on hand and ready.

Qualifications

• Wants to build a quantum computer.
• Works well in a highly collaborative team environment.
• Current forklift certification, or ability to certify before start.
• Comfortable with sustained physical work: lifting up to 50 lbs, standing most of a shift, ladders and lifts.

Responsibilities

• Own the flow of equipment from loading dock to lab and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Keep a well-organized stockroom and monitor/replenish stock of components.
• Receive freight, unpack and stage hardware, and assist with installation of equipment.
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers to ensure required items are on hand and easily findable.
